My name is Courtney. I live in south central Kentucky with my husband, two cats, two dogs, and an inordinate amount of books, craft supplies, and Legos. I admire minimalists, but I am not one by any means. I work as a freelance writer and spend my free time making things, including but not limited to: bread, gardens, irreverent embroidery, fiction, bad jokes, and videos.
I travel as much as I possibly can. I studied abroad in Mexico, Costa Rica, and France, and so far my husband and I have visited about a third of the U.S. National Parks. Since he has limited time to use, we tend to take trips where the goal is to see as much as possible in the week we have, just in case we don’t get the chance again; we love to travel more slowly when we get the opportunity. On this website, I’ll share some of our itineraries and recommendations for those trips, as well as blogs, photography, and whatever else strikes my fancy, really. (It’s my website, after all.)
